Business Requirements Analyst

Brussels, Belgium - On site | Duration: 90 days | Category IV, Level 3

SEIDOR is currently looking for a Business and Requirements Analyst to join an exciting project within a prestigious

European Institution in Brussels (EEAS).

In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting business

applications, ICT solutions and digital transformation initiatives across departments such as HR, Finance, Logistics

and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and analyse business processes, business models, processes and risks.

  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements from business departments and senior

stakeholders.

  • Translate business needs into functional solutions supporting business operations and digital transformation

initiatives.

  • Assist in drafting business cases, project charters, security plans, test plans and test cases.

  • Support business applications and ICT solutions through incident, request and problem analysis.

  • Act as an interface between business stakeholders, VIP users, senior management and technical teams.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience as Business Requirements Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of UML, BPMN, business analysis, process modelling, business requirements analysis and

functional requirements analysis.

  • Good understanding of data analysis, basic data modelling, information systems and ICT project methodologies.

  • Experience with Agile frameworks, Agile business analysis, Kanban, Scrum, PM2 / PM2 Agile and ITIL-based service

management practices.

  • Ability to propose ICT solutions to business problems and communicate clearly with both business and technical

stakeholders.

  • Ability to work proactively and maintain service quality in a business-critical, large-organisation environment.

  • Candidate must be security-clearable and available for an onsite interview at EEAS premises in Brussels.

Tools and Methodologies

  • Balsamiq or equivalent wireframing tools; Software AG ARIS or equivalent process modelling tools.

  • Atlassian Jira and Confluence, ServiceNow, Zendesk or equivalent ticketing tools.

  • Microsoft 365, Power BI, SQL / SQL Server, Postman, Swagger / OpenAPI.

  • SAP knowledge, including HR, Fiori, MM, FI/CO and Authorizations.

  • Windows workstations, business applications, Active Directory, networking troubleshooting and remote support

tools.

Relevant Certifications

  • At least one relevant certification such as BPMN 2.0, OCEB, OMG Certified UML Professional, BABOK, ITIL 4, PM2, Agile

Certified Professional IIBA, ECBA, ITIL V4 Foundation, Microsoft AI-900, AZ-900 or MS-900, or equivalent.
