Digital Transformation Manager

Department: Transformation / Digital Transformation Reports To: Chief Transformation Officer Location: Bucharest and Regional Travel: 20% within the region


Role Purpose

The Digital Transformation Manager is responsible for driving the design, execution, and scaling of IPSO’s digital roadmap across all business units. This role ensures that digital initiatives (CRM, ERP, WMS, customer experience systems, data analytics, automation and AI) are aligned with organizational priorities and are delivered with measurable business impact.

The position serves as the connector between business strategy, technology enablement, and operational adoption, ensuring digital tools generate efficiency, productivity, and customer-experience improvement.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation initiatives, ensuring

successful implementation and optimization of core business applications (CRM, ERP,

WMS, other business apps) across all divisions while accountable for service

availability and cybersecurity.

• Translate organizational strategy into a structured digital roadmap,

prioritizing initiatives based on business value, operational impact, and technology

readiness.

• Drive successful deployment and integration of new technologies, ensuring

that solutions enhance business processes and support cross-functional operational

excellence.

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT,

capturing requirements, shaping digital solutions, and ensuring alignment with

enterprise architecture and long-term strategic direction.

• Optimize digital business applications by identifying improvement opportunities,

coordinating system enhancements, and ensuring platform stability and usability

across countries.

• Manage vendor relationships and external partners involved in delivering and

supporting digital solutions, ensuring quality, transparency, and adherence to agreed

service levels.

Job requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields.

• 15+ years of experience delivering digital transformation projects in multi-site or

multi-country organizations, 10 years of management experience

• Proven track record leading cross-functional digital initiatives

• Strong experience with ERP/CRM/WMS platforms, digital tools, automation, and

modern data systems, IT services and cybersecurity.

• Strong project management skills (agile or hybrid methodologies).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, business applications, integration concepts.

• Ability to evaluate digital tools, manage vendors, and optimize TCO.

• Analytical mindset with experience in data transformation, dashboards, and KPIs.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Strong influencing capability across business units.

• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

• High drive, adaptability, and resilience in fast-moving environments.

• English Language B2(additional EU language a plus)
