Main scope of the role

As a (Senior) IS Solution Manager, you will be responsible for building, deploying,

operating, and developing application solutions for the company’s technical businesses

(Operation, Maintenance and Inspection, Supply Chain, Geophysics, Geo Information,

Reservoir and Drilling, Operations, etc.). You will integrate Industrial Cybersecurity (ICSC)

activities within the framework of the company’s IS policy and strategy, in line with the IS

roadmaps of the branches using these applications.

Job requirements

Business Support

• Communicate with business users to understand their functional and service

expectations, and their satisfaction with the tools and applications supporting their

solution.

• Diagnose the possibilities offered by the tools/applications.

• Propose choices and evolutions of tools/applications, ensuring rationalization of the

application portfolio.

• Define the consequences of architectural, technological, and methodological

orientations on the tools/applications within your solution’s perimeter.

• Guarantee technical and functional coherence of the applications/tools/services used

and their consistency with the technological and functional roadmap.

• Ensure the update of the catalog of applications/tools supporting the IS solution.

Activity Management

• Perform routine maintenance, evolutions, and projects on the tools/applications

supporting the IS solution.

• Perform tasks directly or supervise contractors for IS solution support.

• Monitor objectives in terms of quality, performance, deadlines, and safety (KPI).

• Manage calls for tenders, participate in their analysis, and in the choice of service

providers.

• Participate in contracting and control the effectiveness of contractors’ achievements.

• Supervise planning, expenses, and budgets.

• Ensure activity reporting.

Market Scouting

• Ensure technological watch to detect new technical and functional possibilities

offered by the market in the field covered by the IS solution.

Internal stakeholders

• Interact with other technical domains and with applicative divisions to plan report and

coordinate day-to-day operation

• Management of contracts (outsourcing / services)

On call duty (yes/no)

On-call availability may be required, based on business needs.

Candidate's profile

IT professional with more than 5 years of experience in IS

Educational Background

Engineer/Master sciences background

Technical skills – tools & technologies

No certification required at hiring, but Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification must be

obtained as part of the role
