Job description

We are looking for an experienced IT Oracle Financials Application Analyst with strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials.

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between finance users and technical teams, ensuring system stability, accurate financial processing, and the continuous improvement of Oracle Financial modules. You will support, configure, and optimize financial applications to meet both business and compliance requirements.

What you'll do

  • Provide functional support for Oracle Financial modules, including configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Financials solutions.

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring maximum accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

  • Investigate and resolve data issues, accounting discrepancies, and system errors via root-cause analysis.

  • Coordinate with technical teams, including DBAs and developers, for system fixes, customizations, and integrations.

  • Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs), track patches, and coordinate system updates.

  • Support audits and compliance (SOX) by providing system evidence, reconciliations, and control documentation.

  • Develop functional design documents, test scripts, and comprehensive user guides.

  • Conduct UAT, regression testing, and post-production validation.

  • Train end users and deliver ongoing functional application support.

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • Enterprise Experience: Strong background supporting Oracle Financials in large-scale corporate environments.

  • Financial Close & Audits: Hands-on involvement in financial close cycles, audits, or full-cycle system implementations.

  • Deep Module Expertise: Excellent configuration knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, iExpense, Purchasing).

  • Accounting & Rules: Solid understanding of accounting rules, financial controls, and SLA & Accounting Derivations.

  • Technical Skills: Good command of SQL (basic to intermediate) for data analysis, along with functional usage of Oracle Reports / BI Publisher.

  • Data Reconciliations: Advanced Excel skills for data validation and control checks.

  • Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with interfaces, conversions, and integration support (Banks, Subledgers, External Systems).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, tight deadline management, and excellent communication with stakeholders.

  • Language: Advanced written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to or familiarity with Oracle Cloud environments.
