Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and communicate the ServiceNow platform architecture and define standards for

design, development, quality and testing.

  • Design interoperability and interfaces between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.

  • Translate business, user and technical needs into scalable architecture solutions aligned

with organisational goals.

  • Map business objectives, project benefits, priorities, components and system features into

platform architecture.

  • Assess internal customer expectations, gather and analyse requirements, and translate

them into optimal technical solutions.

  • Present proposed technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Supervise the implementation and improvement of organisation-wide service

management capabilities based on ServiceNow.

  • Provide recommendations on business requirements, technical designs, security, disaster

recovery and risk management.

  • Maintain up-to-date solution documentation, technical design documents, SOPs, user

manuals and knowledge-base articles.

Job requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of IT-relevant professional experience and at least 3 years in a similar

position.

  • Minimum education level: Level 4; English language skills: C1 or above.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification or equivalent.

  • Excellent hands-on experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions; experience with

on-premises deployments is an advantage.

  • Excellent practical knowledge of the ServiceNow product portfolio and service

management principles.

  • Experience administering and maintaining ServiceNow platforms is advantageous.

  • Experience creating technical documentation, including technical design documents.

  • Strong knowledge of IT security standards and complex information-system

interoperability.

Technical Knowledge

  • Key ServiceNow integration technologies, including Web Services, SSO, LDAP and REST.

  • Systems modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect or equivalent.

  • Platform architecture, integration design, technical governance, performance optimisation

and security.

  • Ability to collect and interpret system metrics and optimise solutions from performance,

security and quality perspectives.

  • Understanding of organisational service-management capabilities and enterprise-wide

platform implementation.

Engagement Details

  • Security clearance: CONFIDENTIEL UE / EU CONFIDENTIAL; screening must be initiated within the

first 45 days of assignment.

  • Service model: on-site service provision, with an expected 20% intra-muros / 80% extra-muros ratio.

  • Location: Frontex Headquarters.

  • Travel: not foreseen.

  • Interview required; minimum interview score: 70%.

  • Technical quality / price weighting: 50% / 50%.
