Technical Domain Leader – Infrastructure

Role Overview: Technical Domain Leader – Infrastructure As the Technical Domain Leader – Infrastructure, you will be accountable for the comprehensive operational management of all infrastructure services—including AWS Cloud and OnPremise environments—supporting applications within the Supply Logistics and Product Safety domain of the Marketing & Services Branch. You will ensure that infrastructure services consistently align with both IT standards and evolving business requirements, fostering close collaboration with technical leads, external service providers, and application owners to deliver optimal outcomes.

• Strategic Impact: Lead the management of a mission-critical, high-impact information system, with direct influence on organizational efficiency and productivity.

• Operational Scope: Oversee a portfolio comprising approximately 10 AWS-hosted applications and 5 OnPremise applications.

• Resource Management: Administer a competitive annual budget, including approximately €350,000 allocated to cloud services and €115,000 dedicated to sysops operations.

This role requires a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across a complex technical landscape.

• Act as the principal point of contact for application managers on all technical and

infrastructure-related matters, fostering effective collaboration with TGITS

technical leads and Sysops service providers to ensure seamless communication

and prompt issue resolution.

• Direct the comprehensive management of incident resolution, change and

evolution requests, and escalation processes, upholding the highest standards of

service quality and operational excellence.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on process optimization

and automation—particularly within AWS Cloud environments—to enhance

operational efficiency and foster innovation.

• Lead the adoption and promotion of FinOps best practices to ensure robust cloud

cost management and optimal budget utilization.

• Provide strategic input into the evolution and architectural design of technical

solutions, ensuring alignment between business application requirements and

resilient, scalable infrastructure capabilities.

• Collaborate with TGITS infrastructure divisions and service providers to manage technical roadmaps, address obsolescence, and implement necessary upgrades.

• Participate in Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in partnership with application owners.

• Lead and supervise service providers (including teams based in India) responsible for operating AWS Cloud and OnPremise infrastructure, ensuring compliance with processes, technical and cybersecurity standards.

Candidate profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management

• Proven ability to coordinate technical teams, develop action plans, and manage

complex technical projects.

• Experience working in an international environment.

• Fluency in English and French is required.
